The aim of this systematic review is to collect and summarize the benefits of Pilates in the elderly population (>60 years old), within the current scientific production, assessing its contribution to Healthy Ageing (HA). We used PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis) to select, collect, and analyse this thematic. The methodological procedures were registered in the PROSPERO database. The main results of the studies analysed (n = 30) point to significant differences between the intervention and the control groups in dynamic balance, strength, mobility, functional capacity, risk of falling reduction, and mental and psychological health. Thus, the results showed that Pilates may be beneficial for the health of the elderly. The meta-analysis found statistical differences between means on the dynamic balance (mean difference (MD) = −0.0, 95% CI [−0.71, −0.50]; I2: 0%) and the aerobic capacity and aerobic resistance [(MD) = 38.29, 95% CI [6.82, 69.77]; I2: 0%). Thus, it is concluded that the efficacy of Pilates has been shown in various areas of HA and has proven to be affordable and safe for the majority of people, using just a mat on the floor. Future studies should focus on the analysis of the relationship between the cost and the benefit of a Pilates intervention in the elderly population, to better understand how health costs can be minimized and to contribute to a multidisciplinary and generalized HA. Pilates has practical application for the clinicians, therapists, and health professionals that work with the elderly population.
Objetivo: analisar a percepção de adolescentes de uma escola pública de Petrolina-PE sobre imunização. Métodos: estudo qualitativo, exploratório e descritivo, desenvolvido em uma escola estadual, por se tratar de uma referência no ensino médio público de Petrolina. Os sujeitos foram 14 adolescentes matriculados nessa escola. Para coleta de dados, utilizou-se a entrevista semiestruturada e a observação simples com foco no cartão de vacina dos adolescentes, à luz da análise de conteúdo de Bardin. Apenas três adolescentes apresentaram o cartão. Resultados: os adolescentes eram de ambos os sexos, com idade que variou entre 14 e 17 anos. Demonstraram conhecer a finalidade e a importância da imunização, embora tenham apresentado déficit de conhecimento em relação à indicação das vacinas. Quanto ao estado vacinal, a maioria referiu estar com o esquema completo, entretanto, após a observação de alguns cartões de vacina, notou-se que faltavam vacinas como a hepatite B. Conclusões: fazem-se necessárias estratégias de educação em saúde para melhor percepção dos adolescentes quanto à importância das vacinas nesse ciclo da vida. Nesse contexto, a escola se estabelece como lugar privilegiado para o desenvolvimento dessas estratégias, visando à promoção da saúde e à prevenção de doenças. Palavras-chave: Saúde do Adolescente; Saúde Pública; Imunização. ABSTR ACT Objective: to analyze the perception of adolescents from a public school in Petrolina-PE on immunization. Methods: a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study, developed at a state school, as it is a reference for the public high school in Petrolina. The subjects were 14 adolescents enrolled in this school. For data collection it was used a semi-structured interview and simple observation focused on the adolescents vaccine cards, based on the of Bardin's content analysis. Only 03 adolescents had the card. Results: the adolescents were of both sexes, with ages ranging from 14 to 17 years old. They knew about the purpose and importance of immunization, although they showed a lack of knowledge regarding vaccine indications. As for the vaccination status, the majority reported having complete immunization schedule, however, after observing some immunization cards, it was noticed that vaccines, such as hepatitis B, were missing. Conclusions: strategies in health education are necessary for a better perception of the adolescents regarding the importance of vaccines in this cycle of life. In this context, the school stands as a privileged place for developing these strategies, aiming for health promotion and disease prevention.
Resumo: O estudo teve como objetivo descrever a experiência da Educação Permanente em Saúde vivenciada pelos profissionais de saúde de um serviço pré-hospitalar móvel de urgência. Estudo descritivo, de natureza qualitativa, desenvolvido com 36 profissionais do SAMU-192 de Juazeiro-BA. Os dados foram obtidos mediante entrevista semi-estruturada, e analisados por meio da análise de conteúdo. O núcleo de educação do serviço não se encontra implantado e a sobrecarga de trabalho foi apontada como um desafio para a consolidação. Conclui-se que estratégias educativas são componentes essenciais para o fortalecimento e melhoria do componente pré hospitalar móvel de atenção às urgências.Descritores: Educação em Saúde, Socorro de Urgência, Educação ContinuadaStanding in health education: experience of health professionals of pre-hospital care serviceAbstract: The study aimed to analyze the experience of Continuing Education in Health experienced by health care professionals in assisting the pre-hospital mobile emergency in the municipality of Juazeiro-BA. Objetivo: IDENTIFICAR FATORES DE RISCO EXTRÍNSECOS QUE PREDISPÕEM A OCORRÊNCIA DE QUEDAS DE IDOSOS EM AMBIENTE DOMICILIAR. Método: FORAM AVALIADAS 95 RESIDÊNCIAS QUANTO À PRESENÇA DE FATORES DE RISCO, UTILIZANDO-SE ENTREVISTA ESTRUTURADA. Resultados: DAS 95 RESIDÊNCIAS AVALIADAS APENAS 7,4% (7) NÃO APRESENTARAM INADEQUAÇÕES DE ACORDO COM OS ITENS AVALIADOS. OBSERVOU-SE QUE AS INADEQUAÇÕES ENVOLVENDO TAPETES E BATENTES FORAM AS MAIS PREVALENTES, REPRESENTANDO EM CONJUNTO CERCA DE 40% DOS PROBLEMAS IDENTIFICADOS NA PESQUISA. OUTROS PROBLEMAS RELEVANTES FORAM RELATIVOS À AUSÊNCIA DE BARRAS DE APOIO EM LOCAIS QUE REQUERIAM O SEU USO, INTERRUPTORES DISPOSTOS EM LOCAIS DE DIFÍCIL ACESSO E LONGE DA ENTRADA DOS CÔMODOS DO DOMICÍLIO, PISOS COM ALTERAÇÕES NO SEU RELEVO, ILUMINAÇÃO INSUFICIENTE NOS AMBIENTES E MÓVEIS OBSTRUINDO A PASSAGEM DO IDOSO. Conclusão: OS FATORES DE RISCO PARA QUEDAS ESTIVERAM PRESENTES NA MAIORIA DAS RESIDÊNCIAS, SENDO QUE BOA PARTE DESTES SÃO FATORES PREVENÍVEIS.

Objetivo: compreender o significado do puerpério entreadolescentes de uma Unidade de Saúde da Família em Juazeiro-BA. Metododologia: foi uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa,exploratória e descritiva, desenvolvida com puérperas-adolescentes acompanhadas em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde na cidadede Juazeiro-BA. Foram 10 participantes com idade entre 14 a 19 anos. Utilizou-se entrevistas semi-estruturadas, através de visitasdomiciliares acompanhadas por Agente Comunitário de Saúde e analisadas de acordo com a análise temática de conteúdo. Apesquisa foi aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa do Instituto de Medicina Integral Professor Fernando Figueira, sob parecerno. 1720/2010. Resultados: constatou-se que o puerpério para as adolescentes trouxe intensas mudanças em suas vidas, cujaadaptação desvelou sentimentos essenciais e necessários à compreensão de sua condição de mãe. Conclusão: assim, percebe-seque pensar na maternidade adolescente é se apropriar de adolescências com contextos ímpares e subjetivos, necessários para nãose (pré)conceituar essa fase da vida.</p>
