Hate Speech is a widespread problem that degrades a person or people based on their race, religion, gender or disability. This research work proposes a tool to raise awareness on the persistent hate speech in social media platforms. The primary aim of this research work is to highlight the content that promotes violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on religion, gender or ethnicity. Logistic regression is a technique borrowed by machine learning from the field of statistics. It is the go-to method for binary classification problems. Using this algorithm, the model trains itself from the dataset and identifies and displays the sentiment of the tweets. Also, to get the real-time analysis on tweets, Twitter API and libraries such as Tweepy and Textblob are used. The proposed model has the ability to detect the appropriate sentiment with 83.98 percent accuracy. The tool is made free and available for demo use to thepublic
Synovial lipomatosis is an extremely rare type of disease in which there is an excess of adipose tissue involving the synovium layer of joints or synovial sheath around the tendons causing pain, paraesthesia, and weakness. The most common site being reported till now is Knee joint or parapatellar space other joints such as elbows and shoulders are being reported after the knee joint, and the ankle joint is rarely reported 2 cases have been reported in the English literature. We report a case of a 28-year-old male presenting with swelling of the right foot for 12 years and developed symptoms of pain and tingling on the toes for 2-3 weeks. Multiple bony hard lesions were palpated on the base of the foot, ultrasonography (USG) showed a subcutaneous lesion around the extensor tendons of the foot and fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) had a picture of the synovial cyst. Surgical excision was done and histopathology was reported to be as a fibrofatty tissue with multiple adipocytes suggesting lipoma arborescent.
The purpose of this report is to identify /observe and determine the pattern of velocity profile and pressure distribution by using CFD simulation program after the 3D design and modeling of the pump is made using Vista CPD. We have also created a Solid model using Fusion 360 to get a clear idea of Centrifugal pump design. Basically, this report revolves around the idea of investigating the effect and distribution of velocity profile and pressure within a pump having the following specification, Head = 20 m, Flow rate = 100 m3 /hr, and RPM = 2000. 3D Navier–Stokes equations were solved using ANSYS CFX. The standard k −εturbulence model was chosen for the turbulence model. From the design point of view, we have studied the effects of different parameters like rotational speed, volume flow rate etc on the impeller and volute. From the simulation results it was observed that the pressure increases gradually from impeller inlet to outlet. The static pressure on the pressure side is evidently larger than that on the suction side at the same impeller radius. In addition to this, it was observed that the velocity increases from the impeller inlet until it enters the volute casing. It then drops to a minimum value at the outlet region.
The WHO advises using the Defined Daily Dose (DDD) as a unit of measurement and the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) classification system for tracking and researching drug use. The main objective of the study is to examine changes in drug utilization. Evaluate interventions on prescribing patterns of antibiotics at The Oxford medical college hospital and research Centre. Patient demographics and drug charts are collected using specified case report form for a period of 6 months using random sampling method. Case report form includes patient demographics, laboratory data, diagnosis, and drug chart with frequency, dose, dosage and route of administration. Out of 183 cases analyzes 45.4% were female and 54.7% were male. Most of the cases were in the group of 20 to 31. Average duration of hospitalization in our study population was around 5 days. A total of 299 antimicrobial were prescribed in 183 cases. Cephalosporins were the most preferred antibiotic followed by other antibiotic class. Ceftriaxone was the most common drug among the cephalosporin. Antibiotic prescribing in the hospital is empirical, we would like to recommend that antibiotic selection should be based on the results of cultural and sensitivity testing whenever possible. The percentage of drug prescribed in generic form was found to be less. We recommend larger scope prospective study to emphasize on ensuring of rational use of antibiotics.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
