The article presents the results of histological examination of early gastric cancer, endoscopic submucosal remote resection. An algorithm for the morphological study: methods of histological, histochemical and immunohistochemical processing tissue samples, understands the sequence of morphological analysis with findings and conclusions on the effectiveness of endoscopic surgery.
Endoscopic surgery as a method of surgery treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) has a special place. Developing of a new diagnostic and treatment methods allows the specialists not only reveal gastric GIST but also excise them through the flexible endoscope. However, there is a deficiency of a mucous layer of a considerable size after such endoscopic resections, which can increase the risk of postoperative hemorrhage and extend the time of its regenerative process. We optimized endoscopic resection of gastric GIST via endoscopic dissection of submucosal layer when keeping the mucous flap covering the tumor.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
