RESUMENLa hidrosadenitis supurativa (acné inverso, enfermedad de Verneuil, apocrinitis) es una enfermedad crónica que afecta principalmente a zonas intertriginosas, con nódu-los inflamatorios subcutáneos recurrentes, sinus y cicatrices defectuosas. Se considera una enfermedad de oclusión folicular. Las terapias tradicionales consisten en intervenciones quirúrgicas parciales o extensas, antiandrógenos, antibióticos, inhibidores del factor de necrosis tumoral α, terapia fotodinámica y otras.Palabras clave: hidrosadenitis supurativa, acné inverso, enfermedad de Verneuil. ABSTRACTHidradenitis suppurativa (acne inversa, Verneuil disease, apocrinitis) is a chronic disease primarily affecting intertriginous areas with tender subcutaneous nodules, sinus tracts and abnormal scarring. It is considered a disease of follicular occlusion. Traditional therapies consisting of partial and extensive surgery, antiandrogens, antibiotics, tumour necrosis factor inhibitors, photodynamic therapy are available among others.
