With the digitization of the whole society, digital reading becomes a new form of information-receiving, and technologies and products related with digital press, digital reading devices, reading contents, and reading methods have been always developing into perfection. Among all of these, humanization of digital reading design is no more limited in reading hardware. It shall meet users’ practical and aesthetic requirements by good-looking, practical, clear-themed, and simple operating system. This paper centers on digital reading and its visual expression to explore the features of digital reading with the hope of improving the coziness and pleasure of digital reading and offering information to receivers more effectively and correctly.
Green Design, as an advanced designing thought, is a design progress that takes the protection of environment and resources as the core philosophy. Nowadays, the global economy develops rapidly, and the material civilization of human beings has reached an unprecedented level, yet we have to face a series of serious consequences caused by the ignorance of the impact of environment, resources and misunderstanding of the concept “Green Design”. This paper will explore the different cognition on “Green Design”, expound what is real “Green Design” and reexamine modern design, and hope that the design will play an important role in the allocation of resources and energy.
The emergence and application of new materials have changed the traditional design and selection methods of humans, realizing the innovation of products and having a profound impact on the field of design. This paper analyzes and interprets the current application of new materials from the perspective of the relationship between product design and design materials, proposes application principles of new materials in products design by combining applied features of new materials in products design and exacts and summarizes requirements with practical significance for new materials in products design.
Human consciousness has multiple channels and not only relying on eyes. People uses touch sense to understand and feel world since it is feeling system's reaction to material because of physiological stimulation. The essay discusses on application of touch experience in graphic design and how to use touch organ sense to design graphic designing that conform with audience demand by discussing on designing concept of touch experience and researching on touch sense expression from perspective of designing psychology.
New media technology changes our communication way and communication object, and also every aspect of our life, including communication, study, working, etc.. Visual language is a part of these aspects. Visual language, especially visual language of graphic design relies heavily on technology development. From petroglyph to the invention of printing, then to the application of computer, Internet, and satcom technologies, for human communication, each technology has revolutionary significance. This paper mainly discusses influence and meaning of new media on visual language of graphic design, as well as consideration of future development.
