Face recognition is a topic most often discussed in this era because it can be applied and developed for several needs that can be useful in daily life. Face recognition always use learning method like eigenface and learning vector quantization (LVQ). The learning process is using the face of a digital image taken from a camera in five angles for one person that will apply for dataset learning (training and learning data set), and the live image is taken from the camera for testing (testing data image). The first step image will be detected with a haar cascade and captured by a camera. It will use to processing images to get the best image and prepare to be input into the network. From the experiments with 10 testings with various parameter values, the experiment results obtained the LVQ is more accurate than eigenface to identifying faces with average accuracy 66.29% and eigenface is 56.67% with comparison 9.62%, but eigenface is faster in running time with average time 4.39 seconds and 7.38 seconds for LVQ with comparison 2.98 seconds.

The problem of infertility between husband and wife is an important issue that destroys family harmony, and many people still consider infertility or infertility a female problem. However, about 7% of men of childbearing age suffer from infertility. The biggest factor causing male infertility is sperm quality problems. Sperm analysis can be the best predictor of male fertility potential. Machine learning and data mining techniques can be used to automate disease diagnosis. This study aims to obtain a regular form classification model from sperm sample data of 100 volunteers. This classification model can be used to predict male fertility levels into 2 classes, namely normal and alter (decreased fertility). This study uses a fertility dataset obtained from the UCI Machine Learning Repository. Before the data mining process, data preprocessing is required. The classification process is carried out using Naive Bayes and attribute reduction techniques using forward selection to see the increase in the accuracy of Naive Bayes performance. The Naive Bayes test without attribute reduction has an accuracy of 85%, while attribute reduction with forward selection has an accuracy of 88% in predicting sperm fertility. Therefore, by using forward selection with Naive Bayes to reduce attributes in this study, this study was able to increase accuracy by 3% and can be used to help predict sperm fertility

Colorectal cancer has a high incidence, morbidity, and mortality, where the incidence is often associated with inflammation. Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) has an anti-inflammatory effect that has been widely studied, especially the phenol components in the form of hydroxytyrosol and oleocanthal, which have anti-inflammatory properties. C - reactive protein is an acute inflammatory protein that is expressed in the presence of tissue damage. CRP levels themselves run parallel to the progression of malignancy, and elevated CRP is a predictor of poor prognosis. This study was conducted to determine the effect of EVOO on changes in CRP levels in colorectal cancer patients undergoing capecitabine chemotherapy. This study is a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind trial. The subjects of the study were 30 colorectal cancer patients who would undergo capecitabine chemotherapy. They were randomly divided into 2 groups: the group receiving 30 ml of EVOO per day and the group receiving a placebo (corn oil). Plasma CRP levels will be assessed at the start of the study and after two cycles of chemotherapy. The median age in the EVOO group was 45.5 (28-58), and in the placebo group, 55 (26-59). Nineteen samples (33%) were late-stage cancer that had metastasized. The median BMI of research subjects was 19.7 (14.8-31.2), and the mean performance status score was 77.6 ± 5.6. CRP levels after treatment had no significant difference (p=0.218) in the EVOO and placebo groups. In the EVOO group, there was a decrease in serum CRP levels from 19.8 ± 19.4 to 14.8 ± 15, while in the placebo group from 25.8 ± 26 to 22 ± 20.5. EVOO can significantly reduce CRP levels, but in comparison with a placebo did not show a statistically significant difference.

Pelatihan dan pengembangan sering diterapkan dalam berbagai sektor bisnis, organisasi, lembaga, atau bahkan dalam instansi pendidikan. Hal ini penting agar individu dapat lebih menguasai pekerjaannya dan memberikan hasil yang optimal. Pelatihan dan pengembangan juga sering dilakukan sebagai upaya meningkatkan kinerja para tenaga pengajar agar dapat mengikuti perkembangan teknologi dan pendidikan. Saat ini teknologi merupakan bagian yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam kebutuhan sehari-hari, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Secara deskripsi tertentu potensi para tenaga pengajar mungkin sudah memenuhi syarat administrasi pada pekerjaannya. Tetapi secara aktual para tenaga pengajar juga harus mengikuti atau mengimbangi perkembangan dunia teknologi dan menggunakan teknologi sebagai bagian dari pekerjaan mereka. Hal ini yang mendorong pihak instansi pendidikan untuk memfasilitasi pelatihan dan pengembangan karir para tenaga pengajar guna mendapatkan hasil kinerja yang baik, efektif dan efisien untuk proses pembelajaran. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan skill kepada para pengajar di Sutomo 1, agar mereka memiliki kemampuan untuk menjalankan presentasi yang baik dalam pengajaran. Aplikasi yang digunakan pada pelatihan adalah Microsoft PowerPoint, yang merupakan salah satu media yang akan digunakan oleh para tenaga pengajar untuk presentasi dan pendukung aktivitas pengajaran mereka agar lebih optimal dan komunikatif.
