Kulong is a post-tin mining area that is not reclaimed, resulting in the formation of a basin that is gradually filled with water through natural processes. In carrying out an inventory of kulong water to find out the potential and benefits of its water, a method is needed to measure the depth and pH value of kulong water in a practical way and can be monitored in real-time. Depth measurement usually uses an echosounder and to check the pH value using a manual pH meter. However, this method is somewhat less effective because it requires a relatively long process and the resulting data must be recorded manually. In this study, a thingsboard-based prototype design was designed to measure the depth and pH of the Kulong waters. measurement data is processed using a hotspot or WIFI internet connection. The measured value data will be processed and uploaded to the Thingsboard server, which is an online-based Internet of Things (IoT) platform. So that data can be displayed in real-time through the website and can be accessed via a laptop or smartphone.
Mertoyudan Health Center is one of the public health service units located in Magelang Regency, Central Java Province. Data processing and vaccination scheduling for children under five years old at this Health Center are still not optimal. The developments in information technology have caused Mertoyudan Health Center start to develop information services using information technology. One of them is using a web-based information system. This research is conducted for building a web based data processing system and vaccination scheduling for children by implementing the Waterfall method. The results of black box testing on users can be obtained that the system which being built has fulfilled the needs of the Mertoyudan Health Center. The needs that has been met are toddlers data processing, scheduling and immunization for toddlers data reports. This system has become a solution for the availability of valid and transparent information for the immunization officers and The Head of this section at Mertoyudan Health Center.
Celagen Island is one of the outer islands in Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The population of Celagen island is 1234 people and dominated by fishermen. Currently, electricity is supplied from 1 unit of photovoltaic with capacity 80-kWp and coupled with three units of diesel power plant with capacity 100 kW. To meet the electricity needs of 1069 kWh/day, supply from diesel power plant already sufficient. But for the economics of the cost of providing primary fuel, a hybrid from photovoltaic and diesel power plants needs to be done. Hybrid power plants are one of the options to meet the electrical energy needs of geographically difficult areas to connect to the on-grid electricity network. The hybrid system with 72% of electricity from the diesel power plant and 28% of electricity from photovoltaic is very economical. The economic analysis shows that with this modeling, the cost of providing primary fuel is lower by 1228 rupiah/kWh if only using diesel power plant.
Renewable energy power generation is a concept of generating electrical energy that is widely applied today. The rapid population growth is proportional to the high demand for electrical energy. There are still a lot of power plants that rely on fossil fuels as a source of energy to drive the turbines. The limitations of fossil energy provide an alternative thought for using renewable energy as electricity generation. Bangka Island is an island with great potential for solar and wind energy. The two energy sources are expected to provide a solution to the scarcity of energy that occurs on the island of Bangka. This research is expected to provide input in solving the problem of the high demand for electrical energy on the island of Bangka and provide an idea that renewable energy is a substitute for limited fossil energy. From each renewable energy generator, research is carried out to obtain the electrical energy produced. The electrical energy data generated by the two power plants will be compared in order to obtain effectiveness and efficiency values. The research was conducted in Bangka district using 50 Wp solar panels and 30 Watt DC generators.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
