A mathematical model of thermodynamic processes during oscillatory motion of liquids in a porous medium has been developed, taking into account the thermal interaction of an oil reservoir with surrounding rocks and phase transitions due to the dissolution of paraffin. Analytical dependences of temperature on time, distance to the well, and parameters of the porous reservoir are obtained, which substantiate the possibility of increasing oil recovery from reservoirs when exposed to pressure wave fields.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
