W(CO)6 and WCl6–LiAlH4 systems have been found to cause coupling of gem-dihalides and benzyl halides giving olefins and bibenzyl derivatives, respectively. The tungsten reagents also cause coupling of some alcohols. The carbene intermediate was suggested from the formation of a cyclopropane derivative.
Bei der Untersuchung verschiedener Wolframverbindungen als Kopplungsmittel zeigen sich W(CO)5 und das System WCI6/ LiAlH4 als hoch reaktives Reagenz zur Kopplung gem.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
