HgJ, single crystals both pure and doped were grown froni an acetone solution using the method of the slow solvent evaporation. The iodides NaJ, KJ, SrJ,, CdJ,, NH,J were used as doping materials in concentrations from 0.01 to 2.0 wt%. The grown crystals were studied with respect to the influence of impurity doping on the electric conductivity and the phase transitions at atmospheric pressure (the DTA method) and high pressure as well (with the help of the high pressure optical cell).HgJ,-Einkristalle, rein bzw. dotiert, wurden aus einer Acetonlosung durch langsarnes Abdampfen des Losungsmittels gezuohtet. Die Jodide NaJ, KJ, SrJ,,. CdJ, und NH,J wurden als Dotierungsmaterialien in Konzentrationen zwischen 0,Ol und 2,O Gew. yo verwendet. Die gezuchteten Kristalle wurden hinsichtlich des Einflusses der notierung auf die elektrische Leitfahigkeit und die Phasenubergange bci Atmosphiirendruck (DTA-Methode) und auch bei hohem Druck (mit Hilfe eincr Hochdruck-optischen Zelle) untersucht.
