Study of Substitution Limit, Structural, Bulk Magnetic and Electrical Properties of Ca 2+ Substituted Magnesium Ferrite. -The Mg1-xCaxFe2O4 (x = 0.0-0.35) spinel system is investigated by XRD, magnetization, ac susceptibility, and dc resistivity measurements. Up to 23% Mg can be substituted by Ca in the fcc MgFe2O4 spinel structure. The variation of the magneton number as a function of Ca content follows the Neel's collinear spin model.
