Measurements on the production of intermediate momenta négative pions, négative kaons, and antiprotons by protons of 43 GeV, 52 GeV and 70 GeV on aluminium nuclei are reported. The production of high momentum (40 GeV/c to ~65 GeV/c) négative particles emitted from aluminium targets bombarded with protons up to 70 GeV has been measured previously and the results have already been reported [1]. Thèse measurements have been extended to lower mo menta secondary particles, namely to TT" and K' mesons and antiprotons with momenta between 25 GeV/c and 40 GeV/c (for 70 GeV protons). Preliminary results have been presented at the L und conférence [2].
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
