The simultaneous diffusion of 64Cu and W u has been measured in copper single crystals from 890 to 1061 "C. The strength of the isotope effect f AK is 0.684 f 0.014 and is independent of temperature within the experimental error. This indicates that the contribution of divacancies to self-diffusion in copper is small. The diffusion coefficient of Wu in copper single crystals was measured from 700 to 1060 "C and is given by
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
