Assessment of variability and trait associations in a crop helps to enhance selection efficiency. With this objective, a study was conducted to estimate the genetic variability, character association and path coefficient analysis for grain yield and its component traits in 80 rice genotypes during Kharif-2020. Eighty genotypes including eight checks were evaluated in alpha lattice design with three replications. For all of the traits studied, the results revealed significant variance in all genotypes.PCV was found to be slightly more than the corresponding GCV for all the characters, indicating the role of environment in the expression of these traits. However, high GCV and high PCV were observed for number of effective tillers, grain yield per plot, number of filled grains per panicle, number of unfilled grains per panicle, biomass yield, harvest index, grain yield per plant and grain yield per hectare. Furthermore, all of the variables investigated had strong heritability and high genetic progress as a percentage of mean, with the exception of days to 50% blooming, days to maturity, and kernel breadth. Days to first flowering, days to 50% flowering, days to maturity, spikelet fertility percentage, number of filled grains per panicle, harvest index and kernel length showed a significant and positive association with grain yield per plot. Highest direct contribution to grain yield per plot was manifested by kernel length, harvest index and spikelet fertility percent. Days to first flowering, days to maturity, number of effective tillers, number of unfilled grains per panicle, test weight, biomass yield were also found to exert a positive effect on yield, thus can be considered as desirable traits for selection in high yielding genotypes.

The claim settlement in non-life insurance, thus, has its own peculiarities and therefore need proper handling. Claims arise when the insured's vehicle is damaged or any loss incurred, any legal liability is incurred for death of or bodily injury or damage to the property of a third party caused due to the usage of insured vehicle. Certain legal formalities are required to be undergone by the insured. These formalities slightly differ from one company to another. The present study analyses the Level of Perception of the respondents on Claim Procedures and Settlement Procedures followed in Motor Insurance.

An investigation was undertaken to study the correlation and path coefficient analysis of twelve quantitative traits in 30 Indian mustard (Brassica Juncea L.) germplasm lines. The experimental material was evaluated in a randomized block design with three replications. Correlation study revealed that harvest index and total biological yield per plant exerted high significant positive correlation coefficients with seed yield at both genotypic and phenotypic level. Seed yield is negatively correlated with days to 50 % flowering and days to maturity which promotes early flowering and early maturing genotypes. Path analysis revealed that harvest index showed maximum positive direct effect, followed by total biological yield per plant, days to maturity, siliquae length at the time of maturity and seed yield per plant at both genotypic and phenotypic levels. Based on result it has been concluded that two traits namely harvest index and total biological yield per plant exerted high correlation as well as direct influence on seed yield may be considered for selection and to improve the seed yield of the mustard genotypes.

Leaders must develop the traits that will enable them to efficiently manage their emotions and, in turn, assist others in managing theirs.
