Topological structure and solution properties of branched diallylester polymersThe topological structure and properties of dilute solutions of branched polymers from diallylesters of sebacic and isophthalic acids have been investigated in a broad interval1 of molecular weights. The systems under study are highly branched polymers containing comblike and random short chain branchings and a large number of intramolecular cyclizations. In dilute solution in benzene the branched polymers exhibit a lower critical mixing temperature. In a good solvent the polymers have a very low intrinsic viscosity. These phenomena are discussed on base of the topological structure ofthe investigated systems.
An investigation was made of the chemical resistance of three-dimensional polymers of oligoester acrylates in organic solvents. The solubility parameter and the polygon of swellability of the polymers were found.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
