In this paper, we show that BiCMOS technology is really suit$-d to the implementation of high-Q, VHF, Gm-C continuous-time bandpass filters. The major problem of such filters is the output resistance value of the transconductors which must be very high. The design approach is based on the use of a negative resistanze element in BiCMOS technology which allows the output resistance value to be increased close to 50 MR without any limitation in the bandwidth of the transconductor circuit. Simulation results of a biquadratic bandpass filter with cenler frequency fo=84.6MHz and quality factor Q,=30 conclude the paper.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
