Evaluation of the negative results of restoration of destroyed crowns of teeth with cast root tabs was carried out in court cases related to poor-quality dental care. The analysis of 1731 cases made it possible to identify the most significant shortcomings and errors in prosthetics. In the course of the study, it was determined that 8.8% of all complaints about fixed orthopedic structures, which caused the appeal to the courts, are related to the quality of manufacturing cast root pin tabs. The main complaints were about poor-quality fixation of prostheses and endodontic preparation of channels (in 30% and 26% of cases, respectively). In 23% of the claims were made to the modeling of tabs, in 12% - to low-quality material. Only 9% of complaints were caused by perforation of the roots of the supporting teeth and the location of the pin parts of the tabs not along the channels.
