To rcmedy the lack of experimental data for holes in AgCl crystals, new measurements of the conductivity increase of zone-refined AgCl crystals in C1, atmospheres were undertaken in the range 50 t o 300 "C. The hole mobility was derived from a kinetic study of the conductivity change after admission/removal of the chlorine gas, taking into account the diffusion potential. Values for the enthalpy of hole formation in AgCl under different conditions of lattice disorder are given.Uni dem Mange1 an experimentellen Daten fur Defektelektronen in AgC1-Kristallen abzuhelfcn, wurden im Bereich 50 his 300 "C neue Messungen der Leitfahigkeitszunahme von zonengereinigten AgC1-Kristallen in C1,-Atmosphare durchgefuhrt. Die Defektelektronen-Beweglichkeit wurdc aus einer kinetischcn Untersuchung der Leitfahigkeitsanderung nach Zustromen/Entfcrnen des Chlorgases unter Berucksichtigung des Diffusionspotentials abgeleitet. Werte fur die Bildungsenthalpie der Defektelektronen in AgCl unter verschiedenen Bedingungen der Gittcrfehlordnung werden angegeben.
Manganese doped GaAs liquid‐phase epitaxial layers provide an EPR spectrum of monoclinic symmetry in contrary to manganese doped GaAs bulk material. It was measured at 1.5 and 20 K. The main axis of disturbance of cubic symmetry has 〈111〉 direction. A MnGa–VAs complex is proposed for interpretation. This model can be justified by the special conditions of preparation and confirmed by the measured values of hyperfine constant and linewidth.
