Ceramic samples of copper oxide were synthesized and their microstructure, elemental composition and electrical properties were investigated before and after the influence of YAG:Nd laser radiation. It was discovered that laser radiation leads to the fusion of granules and to a decrease in oxygen concentration in the surface layer of the sample. After the laser treatment the electrical properties of the samples pre-coated and not coated with copper film differ significantly, in particular the resistive thermal activation energy of these samples differs several times. For all the samples the current-voltage characteristics were linear at small values of the current.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
