The aim: Determination of the peculiarities of the interaction between the indicators of the psychophysiological adaptation of students during the асademic year and throughout the period of stay in a higher medical education institution in the context of providing effective monitoring of the individual health of young women and young men. Materials and methods: A set of psychophysiological functions of the organism of the students was investigated by instrumental techniques and computer diagnostic complex “Effecton Studio”, applying of standardized t questionnaires the characteristics of the person were determined, and the prognostic evaluation of the obtained data was carried out with factor analysis procedures. Results: It was determined that the following factors should be noted as the main factor formations during the analysis of the physiologically-determined correlates of processes psychophysiological adaptation: peculiarities of dynamic performance, balance of nervous processes and mobility of nerve processes, and mentally-determined correlates of processes psychophysiological adaptation: peculiarities of temperament and anxiety, character properties, level of subjective control of personality, aggressive manifestations of personality and emotional burnout. Conclusions: In the study were determined the most peculiarities of the interaction of the indicators of psychophysiological adaptation of modern students in the context of providing efficient monitoring of individual health.
The assessment of the peculiarities of the processes of psychophysiological adaptation of students involves the implementation of a comprehensive analysis of a number of indicators of the functional state of the organism and of the personality traits of girls and youth on the basis of the application of methods of statistical analysis, one of the main tools of which is factor analysis. The aim of the work is to determine the leading factors influencing the peculiarities of the course of psychophysiological adaptation of students of modern institutions of higher medical education in the dynamics of the academic year. Determination of the level of development of psychophysiological functions of students was carried out with the use of the licensed computer complex “Efecton Studio”, peculiarities of the person were evaluated on the basis of psychodiagnostic studies, statistical processing of the received materials was carried out using a package of programs of multidimensional statistical analysis “Statistica 6.1” on the basic procedures of factor analysis. It is determined that as the main factors in the analysis of the physiologically-determined correlates of the success of the processes of psychophysiological adaptation, the following factors should be noted: “peculiarities of dynamic efficiency” and “peculiarities of the balance of nervous processes”, as well as at the beginning of the training time, the factor “peculiarities of mobility of nerve processes” and in the end it is a factor “the peculiarities of the mobility of the nervous processes and the speed of the visual-motor reactions”. The main factors that were identified during the analysis of the mentally-determined correlates of the success of the processes of psycho-physiological adaptation are the following factors: “features of temperament and anxiety”, “features of character properties”, “features of the level of subjective control of personality”, “peculiarities aggressive manifestations of personality”, as well as “features of emotional burnout”, which at the beginning of the training period was associated with a number of features of the mechanisms of psychological protection, at the end of it – with a number of features asthenic and depressive states.
An important place in the structure of personality traits of student youth, who possesses a certain specialty and is in the conditions of pre-examination and examination academic stress, belongs to the leading characteristics of the level of expression of emotional burnout, which is an indisputable factor of formation of high level of emotional instability of young women and young men to the effects of environmental factors and social and professional living conditions. The aim of the study is to study the peculiarities of emotional burnout of students of higher medical education institutions, who are in the conditions of pre-examination and examination academic stress. The studies were conducted at the National Pirogov Memorial Medical University among 67 students of the 3rd year of the Faculty of Medicine, respectively, 1 month before the preparation and immediately before the period of differentiated tests and the examination session with the use of a personal Boyko questionnaire. The statistical analysis of the data obtained, which involved the use of descriptive statistics procedures, was carried out on the basis of using the standard statistical analysis application package “Statistica 6.1” (license number AXX910A374605FA). The results show a significant increase in the level of expression of all the leading phases of emotional burnout of students during the pre-examination and examination periods, and most of all this phenomenon relates to the most unfavorable in its content of phases of resistance and exhaustion. It is established that the level of expression of the leading characteristics of emotional burnout in the highest proportion of young women and young men is characterized by being in the phase of resistance. The highest level of expression of emotional burnout phase indicators in both young women and young men is characteristic for the period of 1 month before the examination session, however, the highest level of expression of phase indicators depletion in both young women and young men is observed immediately before the examination session. Young women have a more significant degree of expression of values that mark the leading components of the resistance phase, among young men – values that mark the leading indicators of the phases of stress and exhaustion. The determined data are of significant importance both from the standpoint of determining the features of the formation of adaptation resources of the organism, and from the standpoint of establishing practically significant approaches to the formation of students' personality, which provide the necessary for successful mastering of the future profession of the working dynamic stereotype of the teaching and professional activity prevention of unwanted emotional reactions in response to the factors of educational or work process.
In the structure of the most important components to ensure the optimal course of processes of psychophysiological adaptation of student’s youth, a special place occupies a degree of psychophysiological readiness of the organism to effectively mastering professionally meaningful skills and actions. The purpose of the study is to determine the peculiarities of changes in the leading indicators of the functional state of higher nervous activity of students of medical institutions of higher education in the dynamics of the academic year. Determination of the level of development of indicators of the functional state of higher nervous activity of students was conducted during the academic year with the use of the licensed computer complex “Efecton Studio”. Statistical processing of the received materials was carried out on the basis of the use of parametric methods using the program package of multidimensional statistical analysis “Statistica 6.1”. The obtained results confirm the presence of certain regularities. First, attention should be paid to the deterioration during the period of stay in institutions of higher education in the medical profile of the expression of such indicators of the functional state of higher nervous activity as the speed of simple and differentiated visual-motor reactions and the balance of nervous processes. Secondly, it is necessary to determine stable results in the dynamics of the academic year, which are characteristic of the indicators of mobility of the nervous processes. Thirdly, it should be emphasized that for indicators of speed of audio-motor reaction the most typical tendency is gradual improvement in the dynamics of time of stay in medical institutions of higher education. Such a variety of palettes of the studied indicators of the degree of development of the leading indicators of the functional state of higher nervous activity of the body of students and students requires to be taken into account when assessing the psychophysiological status of the subjects and the development of a set of diagnostic means for identifying the processes of forming the functional capabilities and adaptive resources of youth, who receive medical education.
In the course of the conducted researches, features of the course of psychophysiological adaptation of students of higher medical education in the dynamics of the academic year obtained by data of cluster analysis are determined. Evaluating the peculiarities of the data obtained when determining the cluster structure of physiologically-significant correlates of psychophysiological adaptation, it should be noted that their structures consisted of the following cluster groups: cluster associated with the characteristics of the speed of a simple and differentiated visual-motor reaction, simple audio-motor reaction and dynamic performance in conditions of monotony, cluster associated with the parameters of mobility of nerve processes, cluster associated with the leading characteristics of tepping-test during the observation period, cluster associated with generalized and individual (the number of premature reactions, delayed reactions and exact reactions) indices of the balance of nervous processes. However, analyzing the psychologically-significant correlates of psychophysiological adaptation, it was necessary to emphasize that their structures consisted of the following cluster groups: cluster associated with the characteristics of emotional burnout, and above all the characteristics of its main phases: phases of stress, resistance and exhaustion, cluster associated with the indicators of asthenic and depressive states, cluster associated with the characteristics of the leading properties of temperament and, above all, indicators of neuroticism, cluster associated with the indicators of the mechanisms of psychological protection, the cluster associated with the characteristics of the level of subjective control of the individual, primarily the characteristics of the general internality, the level of subjective control in the field of educational relations and attitudes to health, cluster associated with the indicators of the properties of anxiety and character, and, ultimately, a cluster associated with the leading characteristics of aggressive manifestations, first of all, indicators of irritability, negativity, indirect aggression, indices of aggression and hostility.
