The purpose of this study was to find and study about public services advertising community movement program “GERMAS” public health.  This research is in the form of field research. Field research is research that is aimed directly at the location of the research to be studied, namely in a community, agency or company to search for data and then observe and conclude. Based on the results of the discussion in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that the public service advertisement broadcast of the GERMAS program broadcast by Odan FM Radio is effective, because listeners find it helpful to have information in the form of advertisements delivered through Odan Radio broadcasts, where many people follow several the points in the GERMAS program, although there are still people who do not know about and participate in this GERMAS program, where there are deficiencies felt by the Health Office in delivering the GERMAS program in the community.

Artikel ini bertujuan membahas strategi komunikasi dalam resolusi konflik umat beragama di Kota Tanjung Balai, berbagai macam kegiatan komunikasi dalam meredam konflik keagamaan telah dilakukan oleh pihak-pihak yang terkait. Dengan melihat berbagai macam keadaan yang ada mengenai kehidupan sosial masyarakat pada Kota Tanjung Balai, komunikasi dalam dialog keberagaman dilakukan oleh para pihak pemuka agama dari lintas keagamaan. Penelitian ini mengandalkan metode studi lapangan (field research) dan studi pustaka (library research). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Tanjung Balai dengan mengunjungi beberapa lembaga keagamaan yang terkait serta instansi pemerintahan, dan masyarakat sekitar yang berada pada saat kejadian. Adapun yang dapat diperoleh dari data hasil penelitian antara lain: 1) Upaya peningkatan kesejahteraan sosial melalui bidang ekonomi; 2) Dialog dan komunikasi oleh Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama (FKUB); 3) Pemerintah, Departemen Agama, dan Pihak MUI yang berupaya untuk berkomunikasi dengan pihak yang terlibat melalui dialog lintas keagamaan.Kata kunci: Strategi komunikasi, resolusi konflik, Tanjung Balai.
