A metal-free and operationally simple N-arylation of NH-sulfoximines with aryne precursors is reported. Transition metal-free reaction conditions and shorter reaction times are the highlights of the present method. The mild optimized condition was also found to be suitable with enantiopure substrates.
Herein, we report a MnIII‐mediated regioselective method for the direct C–H phosphonation of imidazo[1,2‐a]pyridines by using dialkyl phosphites. 3‐Phosphonated imidazo[1,2‐a]pyridines are synthesized in good to excellent yields under the optimized reaction conditions. The present method is also applicable to the functionalization of related heteroarenes, and unlike previously reported methods, the present strategy works well with (NH)‐heteroarenes.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
