Entrepreneurial orientation, entrepreneurial innovation, and knowledge management all play critical roles in improving the performance of Pakistan's small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Pakistan's business index score decreased from 137th to 138th due to the country's low performance in the small and medium-sized enterprise sector. Small and medium-sized firms must overcome several obstacles in order for the country's economy to thrive. This study will address this issue. We used a cross-sectional design and a quantitative technique in our research. Data were acquired via an email questionnaire and analyzed using the structural equation modeling technique and SmartPls. The findings suggested that entrepreneur orientation and innovation are critical factors in enhancing the success of SMEs. Additionally, knowledge management acts as a buffer between entrepreneurial attitude and organizational performance, as well as between entrepreneurial innovation and organizational performance. The study's findings have a number of implications for SME management and policymakers, including the importance of innovation and knowledge management in achieving better performance standards.
This paper discusses the impact of Publicity and Sponsorship on Brand Equity. Data were collected via a questionnaire distributed to almost all big cities of Pakistan among educated persons/university students. Hierarchical regression analysis of data from 200 respondents was used to test two hypotheses. The results show that Publicity and Sponsorship has a positive relationship with Brand Equity. When Publicity and Sponsorship is favorable, there is positive effect on Brand Equity. Further research should examine the role of public relations and advertisement in building Brand equity.
Firms use green human resource management (GHRM) as an essential business tactic to “go green”. The current research analyzes an integrative model by examining the indirect impact of GHRM practices on green corporate social responsibility through a pro-environmental psychological climate and pro-environmental behavior. This study also analyzes the moderating effect of resistance to change (RTC) and environmental knowledge on the relationship between GHRM and green CSR. The data was collected through a questionnaire-based survey of 388 executives working in various organizations under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The results were analyzed through Smart PLS-3 and present that both GHRM dimensions have indirect positive effects on green CSR through the intervening role of pro-environmental psychological climate and pro-environmental behavior. The results of the study also indicated that resistance to change (RTC) has a counterproductive effect that can impede firms and their employees from fully incorporating green practices and minimizing their negative environmental impact.
Domestic violence is considered as a serious socio-psychological and public health issue that has imperative implications on fecundity of women. This paper put forward consolidate findings about the prevalence of domestic violence in rural localities of Southern Punjab, Pakistan. The contextual realities demonstrated that women are considered to be subordinated in front of their marital partners where gender oppression is considered to be a “normal life phenomenon.” The researchers used obtrusive observations along with in-depth interviewing techniques to explore the contextualized underlying dynamics of the study phenomenon. The findings of this study demonstrate that husband was considered to own the hegemonic masculine powers, while women were subordinated in front of their intimate partners. Moreover, mother-in-law was also considered to be the most provoking person for aggravating domestic violence in household context. These violent acts directly affected the reproductive health of these victimized married females. Henceforth, education prevalence, gender awareness and role of sociologists to address the structural problems are the major recommendations that can be adopted to resolve this issue.
