A rapid and simple process has been developed for the recovery of antimony metal from stibnite ore of Kharan area (Balochistan) of Pakistan. The ore was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique and found to contain 66% stibnite i.e. antimony sulfide (Sb 2 S 3 ). The process parameters for the extraction of antimony were optimized on laboratory scale by varying reaction temperature from 900˚C -1000˚C, reaction time from 20 -80 minutes and flux concentration was varied from 5 -25 weight percent of the reaction mixture. The metal thus recovered with optimum conditions was evaluated by X-ray fluorescence (XRF) technique and was found to be more than 94% pure. The recovery yield calculated on the basis of stibnite present in the ore was 98.52%.
The increasing population leads to the increasing waste that will be generated. There have been many researchers who were conducting research on models to proceed domestic waste. However, it was still a small number of analysis carried out to know an advantage from a method and analysis in application in general if a method applied in an area. This research aims to analyze the method of domestic waste treatment hybrid model. This research uses the SWOT – ANP method. The data obtained through field surveys, interviewing residents of a community steeped in opinion, environmental science, analysis of commuters will then be shown in the form of a SWOT chart. The contribution of the researcher is to provide risk analysis on domestic waste processing method with hybrid method applying in the region of Bidara China. The results of this research is that hybrid model (on waste-off waste system) is safe for applying and refers to the number of six (6) of SDG’s about clean water and sanitation to ensure domestic waste water management and sanitation sustainable.
This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between peer interaction with the assertive behavior of students of SMPN 8 Maja in class VIII of the 2022/2023 academic year. The research method used is a correlational quantitative research method to be able to see the relationship between the x and y variables. The population used in this study was students of class VIII SMPN 8 Maja. The sample used consisted of 31 samples with saturated sampling technique. In testing the hypothesis using parametric data analysis with the Product Moment Correlation method, a Sig value of 0.003 is obtained. Decision making based on product moment correlation test criteria is if the Sig. < 0.05 then correlated. Based on the results of the product moment correlation test, it can be seen that the value of Sig. 0.003 <0.05 which means that peer interaction variables with assertive behavior variables are correlated. Meanwhile, the Pearson Correlation value was 0.521. With a significance level of 5%. So it can be seen that between peer interaction variables and assertive behavior variables have a moderate positive correlation. So it can be concluded that the higher the peer interaction that students have, the higher their assertive behavior. Vice versa, the lower the peer interaction, the lower the assertive behavior of students.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
