With the growth of distributed generation (DG) and renewable energy resources the power sector is becoming more sophisticated, distributed generation technologies with its diverse impacts on power system is becoming attractive area for researchers. Reliability is one of the vital area in electric power system which defines continuous supply of power and customer satisfaction. Around the world many power generation and distribution companies conduct reliability tests to ensure continues supply of power to its customers. Uttermost reliability problems in power system are due to distribution network. In this research reliability analysis of distribution system is done. The interruption frequency and interruption duration increases as the distance of load points increase from feeder. Injection of single DG unit into distribution system increase reliability of distribution system, injecting multiple DG at different locations and near to load points in distribution network further increases reliability of distribution system, while introducing multiple DG at single location improves reliability of distribution system. The reliability of distribution system remains unchanged while varying the size of DG unit. Different reliability tests were done to find the optimum location to plant DG in distribution system. For these analyses distribution feeder bus 2 of RBTS is selected as case study. The distribution feeder is modeled in ETAP, ETAP is software tool used for electrical power system modeling, analysis, design, optimization, operation, control, and automation. These results can be helpful for power utilities and power producer companies to conduct reliability tests and to properly utilize the distributed generation sources for future expansion of power systems.
Abstract-With proliferation of Distribution Generation (DG) and renewable energy technologies the power system is becoming more complex, with passage of time the development of distributed generation technologies is becoming diverse and broad. Power system reliability is one of most vital area in electric power system which deals with continuous supply of power and customer satisfaction. Distribution network in power system contributed up to 80% of reliability problems. This paper analyzes the impact of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) as a distribution generation source on reliability of distribution system. Injecting single WTG and close to load point has positive impact on reliability, while injecting multiple WTGs at single place has adverse impact on distribution system reliability. These analyses are performed on bus 2 of Roy Billinton Test System (RBTS).
Although South Asia has made some progress in human development over the last century, it still lags behind some other Asian countries. It is necessary to explore the factors that contribute to human development but have not yet been explored. Thus, the aim of this study is to explore the influence of aid for trade on human development in South Asia for the period 2005 to 2019. First, the study detected the unit root problem in the data using panel unit root tests and found that all data series (human development, aid for trade, population and remittances) are stationary at the level except foreign direct investment, which is stationary at the first difference. Second, the pooled mean group-autoregressive distributed lag (PMG-ARDL) model was employed to examine the short- and long-term influence of aid for trade on human development. The findings of the PMG-ARDL approach explored that aid for trade has a positive and significant influence on human development, both in the short and long run. Finally, this study prescribed some policy suggestions to improve human development in the region.
Code mixing is a process that is unconscious which helps to establish communication in a multilingual group. The study in question examines the use of code-mixing throughout the book "The Holy Woman"by "Qaisra Shahraz." The study examines the socioeconomic and cultural lives that are in Sindh and Karachi. The marriage ceremony was analyzed using words like amazing Rishta three talaqs sister's Mehandi, Nikkah, and jahez. Through code-mixing, the author has not just shown the languages but also the depiction of Pakistani culture. The research found that the author is able to see the light in the regional languages that sound more familiar to the reader as well as Pakistani English to fulfill the language gap. The information has been examined by using Baum gardner, Kennedy, and Shamim's(1993) and Kachru's (1983) model of code-mixing. The researcher has discovered 400 terms (English-Urdu words) within the thirty-two contexts of semantics.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
