A new analog commander for telecommunication application has been developed ,which has wide dynamic range at low supply vo1tage.B~ adopting (1) new circuit architecture based on MOS resistive circuit (MRC) conception[l], (2) full differential circuit configuration and ( 3 ) t r i p l e t h r e s h o l d v o l t a g e ( V t h ) process,wide dynamic range of 80dB and low distortion less than -70dB has been realized at 1.8V supply voltage.1. INTRODUCTION As one of previous technology for CMOS compander, a sigma-delta modulation t y p e c o m p a n d e r w a s r e p o r t e d [2]. However,the compander has faults of large circuit scale and long input/output delay time due to digital signal processing.In order to solve these problemsfwe have developed a new CMOS analog compander by adopting ( 1 ) new circuit architecture based on MRC conception, (2) full deferential circuit configuration and ( 3 ) triple Vth process.
