The COVID-19 pandemic has affected almost every area of our lives. It meant a break from our lifestyles, transforming everything from face-to-face to online. Among the places where this situation has become more evident are primary schools, secondary schools, and universities, which have had to adopt online teaching in its entirety. Faced with this situation, the work of the educational counsellors was essential to coordinate the centre with the families and to enable students to follow the classes in the best way possible. The objective of this study is to analyse the scientific literature about online educational guidance, with a focus on the COVID-19 pandemic. To achieve this, a scoping review inspired by the PRISMA model was done. A total of 42 articles were studied. The main results show that many counsellors were at a disadvantage and in a very stressful situation, as they did not have the necessary digital training. On the other hand, this situation has been the first contact for many counsellors with the use of ICT within their profession and in an unexpected situation, without time for training or enough preparation.
Los videojuegos y su uso como una herramienta en el proceso de aprendizaje es una temática relevante dentro de la literatura científica educativa, en la que la gamificación, los juegos serios y el aprendizaje basado en juegos atraen cada más la atención de los educadores. El objetivo de este estudio consiste en revisar la literatura científica educativa sobre los videojuegos y sus beneficios en Educación Primaria, con especial atención a las publicaciones españolas. Se ha procedido a revisar las asignaturas implicadas, el número de publicaciones por año y la relevancia de las revistas que los publican y conocer la frecuencia de publicación de artículos por revistas. También se han consultado las citas recibidas en Google Scholar. Los beneficios encontrados en esta revisión incluyen la atención, la concentración o la resolución de problemas. Se trata de un recurso con gran potencial didáctico y de gran interés, siendo una herramienta muy atractiva para y capaz de jugar un importante papel dentro del desarrollo cognitivo. Gracias a la evolución que han sufrido a lo largo de los años, los videojuegos se pueden utilizar en una gran diversidad de plataformas adaptándose a las distintas áreas de la Educación Primaria, destacando las Matemáticas y las Ciencias Sociales.
