BACKGROUND: The imbalance between the increase in the overall volume of patients at the emergency department (ED) with the capacity of the emergency unit can lead to overcrowded conditions in the ED. Factors that cause ED density include lack of beds for inpatients, increased overall patient volume, increased non-emergency patient visits, lack of nursing staff, and lack of administrative support. Overcrowded at the ED can cause work stress on nurses. Nurses in the ED tend to experience more stress than nurses on the ward due to workload and work fatigue. AIM: This study aimed to investigate the correlation between the ED density with nursing work stress. METHODS: This study was conducted a correlational study in a hospital at Central Java in 2020. Total sampling with the criteria of nurses in the ED was the method employed to the respondents. The data analysis used descriptive statistics and rank Spearman, with a significant level of p < 0.05. RESULTS: The most frequent occurred in the ED was overcrowded, while nursing work stress was moderate stress. The result of the rank Spearman test obtained p = 0.000 with a correlation coefficient of 0.725. CONCLUSION: There was a significant correlation between the ED density levels with nursing work stress.
Centos is a Linux based framework commonly used by network supervisors. Given the educational plan of learning in the current PC innovation study program, students are familiar with this framework. In today's all-mechanical era, there are lots of learning media such as android applications. This application was created to offer a different convenience to the Java programming language. In addition, this application is also developed using the SDLC model. There are still some uses that can help with learning exercises, especially those related to the Centos linux framework, the basic explanation of application makers to create applications that can later help learn about Centos linux. Although not as popular as Windows and iOS frameworks, there are still many who use the Centos Linux framework, especially for framework needs with this application making it easier for users to learn because it is mobile based so that we can learn Centos anywhere and anytime.
Introduction: Patients with a diagnosis of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) in Sleman Regency in 2020 were 20,097 patients. The treatment of diabetes requires good motivation from patients. Self-confidence or self-efficacy will help shape behaviors that support healing. Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) was a therapy that can create positive emotional conditions and a calm mind so that the right thoughts emerge to decide attitudes in helping the healing process. This study aims to determine the effect of SEFT for self-efficacy of patients with DM-Type 2 at the working area of public health center Seyegan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Methods: This study used a quasi-experiment with pre-test post-test using control group design. Patients were assessed pre-test and post-test with the DM-Self Efficacy Scale. The intervention group was subjected to SEFT therapy. The sample of this study was 40 respondents from the intervention group and 40 respondents from the control group. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out between July and August 2020.Results: The results of the data collected were processed using the Wilcoxon test and the Mann Whitney test. Wilcoxon test results in the intervention group obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05) and in the control group obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05). Mann Whitney test results obtained p = 0.003 (p <0.05).Conclusion: SEFT technique affects the increasing self-efficacy in type II DM patients.
