In this area, a dynamic technological activity is still exerted, which arrived to evidently influence in around environment with their wastes, making so a dangerous risk for human health and natural. That's why; this region is classified by the UNDP among the nine hot spots in Albania. The selected surface for study is around 200km2. The oil and gas field of Fier area is considered as one of the less managed zones, because of absence and damages in land, water and air, where the throwing of the oil waste in surface has not permitted the development of pedogenic processes. It has brought the deficit of soil, and consequently the right agrarian cultivation has not been permitted. The light hydrocarbons, which disturbed the two cities, introduce toxic indications in concentration of 3-5mg/l. Among the main problems are the stream waters that have in their composition oil components, such as phenol, different hydrocarbons, tension-active matters, etc. They have years that have asphyxiated the vegetal and living beings in environment pond, as channels, etc. The soil pollution with oil in area has penetrated in the depth of 0.1-1m, as a result the grown plants in land has also absorbed the oil elements. The water pollution has touched the life cycle of the community, so we are challenge with the health problems top them. In accordance with the objectives of the paper is made possible the evaluation of pollution extension, started from the source down to the river and finally to the sea. The purpose of the article is to assess polluted level in oil field of this area and to give the respective recommendations to a sustainable development by minimizing the oil activity impacts to the environment and especially to the living being health.
The almost uncontrolled waste management activity in the condition of the biological factors degradation is bringing negative changes to the natural environment, such as in water, air and land, as well as in its physical chemical composition. The institutional apathy on the environmental protection field, that is being threatening to the environment, by no managing and no treating the urban waste, composing so the most unique case in the world, where the urban municipal waste threat with their three paradox, such as they are thrown out near the river systems or they are thrown out on loose deposits and they have been left in opened damps and burned into the air. Under this condition the paper treats and find out the ways how to accept an action local plan for a careful management and integrated treatment of them. The waste management is a national problem, as well. Legislation, public consideration and the other groups related with the growth tendency for the waste management problems has passed the geographical limits of a certain municipality. The engineering controlled landfill or sanitary one, today in the Albania is the dominating waste management option, irrespective they have not few problems related with technology and emissions. The papers deals with waste management in the way how to be collected or to promote discussion in Strategic Issues or provide and organize education in waste management, life cycle analysis, risk assessment, environmental impact assessment, EMAS, quality control procedures and cost benefit analysis., cost optimisation, separate collection, case studies, subsurface systems.
Syndrome of built environment and civil perception. The article pays attention to solving the problems of natural environments, as well as altered and/or artificial ones taking Tirana as a case study. It reviews the application of practical solutions to everyday problems of environment, where theory, research and application are integrated, but mostly using their unification as the eclectic model in order to show the interaction between man and environment. The article reviews the way we are a product of our environment, our biology or the interaction of both. It shares the way we are affected by physical environment, such as noise and built environment. In addition, it also examines the way we may modify our environment through design principles, such as aesthetics, and the way we change our environment, when we disregard the impact that people and/or elements have in our ecological system. It provides ideas on the impact of micro and macro-environment of Tirana metropolis, including their short-term and long-term effects. Firstly, a historical context is provided and central methods of discipline research are presented. Then, its is presented the position of environment in Tirana, the values, ethics and principles that apply to environmental assessment, models of perception and knowledge, including the way we process and maintain environmental information, and the main theories of man-environment interaction. Then, a variety of environmental impacts, such as: noise, urban design, urban construction (including pollution effects), collection (overpopulation) and city life are examined, as well as the way they influence us. In the end, considerations are given on the way that these principles of psychology may be applied at home, in institutions (i.e. schools), at work and at leisure premises, by concluding with the concepts of the way we may change our attitude which harms environment[1].
