The purpose of the study is to select the villages which were planned and established in the Ryukyu Islands during the early modern period and to clarify the spatial composition of the villages by classifying the configuration based on the conditions of topographic location.Villages planned and established during the early modern period will be selected from the preceding studies and literatures. The landscape of the prewar villages will be reproduced and analyzed, and the spatial configuration of the villages will be classified with the locations selected based on the characteristics and configuration. The spatial composition of each village will then be clarified by analyzing the characteristics of the villages classified.
The purpose of this study was to reconstruct the spatial characteristics of the villages on Kikaijima Island immediately before and after World War II to examine the characteristics of these spatial characteristics within the context of the topographical situation of the villages. In this study, we clarified the commonalities and differences of the location and spatial composition of the villages by analyzing aerial photographs of all of the villages on Kikaijima Island by the US military immediately before and after World War II.
This paper aims to clarify continuous participation of university lab. members on community development project named Maitamon Project which has been achieved on collaboration between university and local community. The results as follows;1) The promotion system of lab. member is composed of the generalization section by graduate student/researcher, the CG making section by graduate student/researcher and the modeling and researching section by graduate student/undergraduate student. 2) Contents of work are the CG making and the modeling and the material to rouse the image to local community.3) Method of participation of undergraduate student/graduate student who changes place in a few years supports mentioned promotion system.
