Damped vibration of a cracked Timoshenko beam with ends supported with damper, linear and rotational springs is investigated. Frequencies in complex forms have been obtained for both cracked Euler-Bernoulli and Timoshenko beams. Depending upon the crack-depth and crack-location, frequencies have been tabulated in each case. The results have also been compared in terms of the ratio of the beam depth to the beam length. Modal shapes for various conditions have also been plotted.
This paper presents a study of end-to-end methods for predicting autonomous vehicle navigation parameters. Image-based and Image & Lidar points-based end-to-end models have been trained under Nvidia learning architectures as well as Densenet-169, Resnet-152 and Inception-v4. Various learning parameters for autonomous vehicle navigation, input models and pre-processing data algorithms i.e. image cropping, noise removing, semantic segmentation for image data have been investigated and tested. The best ones, from the rigorous investigation, are selected for the main framework of the study. Results reveal that the Nvidia architecture trained Image & Lidar points-based method offers the better results accuracy rate-wise for steering angle and speed.
This paper presents work from a PhD study on unmanned ground vehicle advanced traversability. In particular, in this paper a number of learning algorithm have been trained and tested using the YAMAHA dataset (an off-road related dataset). Results were analysed and compared in terms of prediction accuracy and training time. It was noted that while various models provide appropriate accuracy results, only few provide results that can be classed as optimal when training time is considered.
Bu çalışmada iki ucunda dönme ve ötelenme yayı bulunan bir Euler-Bernoulli kirişin serbest titreşimi incelenmiştir. Farklı yay katsayılarına göre hem simetrik hem de simetrik olmayan durumlara göre frekans tabloları ve mod şekilleri oluşturulmuştur. Yay sabitleri değiştirilerek birçok durum incelenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Yüksek frekanslarda yay sabitlerinin frekanslar üzerine etkisinin son derece azaldığı ve iki frekans arasındaki farkın sabit bir değere yaklaştığı bulunmuştur.In this study, the free vibration of a Euler-Bernoulli beam with rotating and transitional springs at both ends has been investigated. According to different spring coefficients, frequency tables and mode shapes have been created for both symmetric and non-symmetric cases. By changing spring constants, many conditions have been examined and interpreted. It has been found that the effect of spring constants on frequencies is extremely low at high frequencies and the difference between two frequencies approaches to a constant value.
