Temporally and spectrally resolved (90 2 harmonic emission and stimulated Raman scattering has been observed from thin foils irradiated by double pulse 010.53 pn laser light. Asymmetric W O 2 spectrum from the prepulse can he explained by the spectral model including ?U,-plasmon-photon coupling and the effects of plasmon refraction. The Raman signal from the main pulse is broad corresponding ;o densities up to O.?Zn, for the Raman process. An anomalous red shift -1000 . A from the (90 2 frequency observed during the main pulse indicates inverse resonance absorption of the Raman-plasmons. because the red shift is too large to be explained b j the ?to,-insiabilit~.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
