Reactions of organo-metal compounds Reactions of organo-metal compounds O 0350Direct Preparation of Benzylic Manganese Reagents from Benzyl Halides, Sulfonates, and Phosphates and Their Reactions: Applications in Organic Synthesis.-The title reagents are readily prepared from benzyl halides and activated Mn. Alternatively they can be obtained from benzylic alcohols via oxidative addition of activated Mn to their corresponding sulfonates or phosphates.
