<p>The population of Indonesia from year to year has increased. The increase in population must also be accompanied by increased economic growth in Indonesia. The increase in economic growth in Indonesia is marked by the reduction in the number of poor people in Indonesia. In addition, the increase in economic growth is reflected in the equitable distribution of public income in the country. Even though there are still many Indonesian people who are not yet prosperous in economic terms. To overcome, it is necessary to have clustering and characteristics of 34 provinces in Indonesia by implementing the Modification Maximum Standard Deviation Reduction (MMSDR) graph clustering algorithm. The data used are indicators of public welfare in 2017 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. There are 9 indicators of community welfare used in this research. There are four stages in the MMSDR algorithm namely the "MST", "Subdivide", "Biggest Stepping" and "Create Clusters" processes. The results of this study can be seen from the distance between the nodes or between one province and another province produced 22 clusters. From the cluster results obtained using the MMSDR algorithm on welfare data, there are many clusters formed with cluster members formed at most two nodes (province).</p><p> Keywords: MMSDR, Clustering, Welfare of People</p>

Abstract. Used cooking oil is used cooking oil and waste which is quite dangerous for the ecosystem if carelessly discharged can result in clogged waterways and contamination of water and soil. The method used is Socialization and Workshop activities of the utilization of waste cooking oil which is purified using wood charcoal for 3 weeks and then processed into solid washing soap. The socialization was carried out through pamphlets distributed to participants about the dangers of throwing waste cooking oil carelessly and how to purify used cooking oil. Then a workshop on washing soap made from used cooking oil was conducted. In this activity PKK ladies were very enthusiastic in practicing directly how to make washing soap. Participants in the activity did not find it difficult to make washing soap because the ingredients were easily obtained and the manufacturing process was not complicated. Hopefully, after participating in this socialization and workshop, the participants will become more knowledgeable about not throwing waste cooking oil carelessly and making use of it into solid washing soap so that the products produced can be of economic value.Keywords: used cooking oil, charcoal, washing soap.Abstrak. Minyak jelantah merupakan minyak nabati bekas memasak dan limbah yang cukup berbahaya bagi ekosistem bila dibuang sembarangan dapat mengakibatkan tersumbatnya saluran air dan tercemarnya air dan tanah. Metode yang digunakan adalah kegiatan Sosialisasi dan Workshop pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah yang dimurnikan menggunakan arang kayu selama 3 minggu kemudian diolah menjadi sabun cuci padat. Sosialisasi dilakukan melalui pamflet yang dibagikan kepada peserta mengenai bahaya membuang minyak jelantah sembarangan dan cara memurnikan minyak jelantah. Selanjutnya dilakukan workshop pembuatan sabun cuci dari minyak jelantah, pada kegiatan ini ibu-ibu PKK sangat antusias dalam mempraktekkan langsung cara membuat sabun cuci. Peserta kegiatan tidak merasa kesulitan dalam pembuatan sabun cuci karena bahan yang mudah didapat dan proses pembuatannya yang tidak rumit. Semoga setelah mengikuti sosialisasi dan workshop ini peserta kegiatan menjadi bertambah pengetahuannya untuk tidak membuang minyak jelantah sembarangan dan memanfaatkannya menjadi sabun cuci padat sehingga produk yang dihasilkan kelak dapat bernilai ekonomi.Kata Kunci: Minyak Jelantah, arang, sabun cuci.

Tujuan pembelajaran akan berjalan dengan baik tentunya harus melibatkan banyak peran yang terlibat di dalamnya. Peran tersebut antara lain adanya peran guru sebagai pengganti orang tua disekolah, siswa yang menjalankan kegiatan pembelajaran, dan juga peran orang tua untuk memonitoring siswa di rumah. Hal ini juga tentunya didukung dengan adanya komunikasi yang baik. Selain itu, untuk memudahkan guru dalam mengevaluasi hasil belajar siswa. Dengan kata lain, pentingnya buku penghubung antara guru dan orang tua untuk memudahkan komunikasi antara guru dan siswa dalam mengontrol perilaku siswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tim memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan mengenai suatu aplikasi yang dapat di downloat gratis melalui Android yang bernama ClassDojo. Luaran yang akan dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah purwarupa berupa Aplikasi ClassDojo. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini di harapkan dapat membantu para pengajar dapat memberikan penilaian dan mengelola kelas dengan baik.

<p><em>The MERS-Cov virus has spread to other countries outside Saudi Arabia. This is because the MERS-CoV virus can mutate rapidly so it is feared that it could threaten public health and even world health. This virus develops and becomes an acute respiratory disease and the mortality rate reaches 30% among 536 cases. One way to classify the MERS-CoV virus is by grouping the DNA sequences of the MERS-CoV virus which have similar characteristics and functions. Spectral clustering is a grouping method that can identify DNA gene expression. This method is also able to partition DNA data with a more complex structure than the partition clustering method. The purpose of this study was to analyze the MERS-CoV virus clustering using the spectral clustering method and the k-means algorithm. This study used a quantitative descriptive literature approach. The results showed that the results of clustering using the spectral clustering method and the k-means algorithm produced three clusters and were more homogeneous than clustering using k-means only.</em></p>
