Central Java and East Java are provinces in Indonesia which have the largest area of teak forest where management is in PERHUTANI. Teak trees can be cut down after reaching the age of 10 years or meet the minimum stem diameter required. Utilization of teak wood for the needs of building materials and furniture is very high because the material is of good quality. In processing teak tree trunks, there is waste from cutting that has not been maximized by PERHUTANI. With good quality teak wood, try to learn about the utilization of PERHUTANI teak wood waste powder for use as a bio-pellet that is included in the Renewable Energy (EBT) category so that they can improve their use and economic functions value. The bio-pellet quality reference standard refers to the SNI 8021:2014 standard. To make bio-pellets, flat die mill type machines are used with speeds of 1660 rpm. As an adhesive used cassava starch with a variation of 5%; 10%; 15% and water variations 10%; 15%; 20% by weight teak wood dust. Compaction pressure variations are obtained by adjusting the gap between the roller and die in the 0.5mm, 1mm and 1.5mm die holes. In research conducted content contained in teak wood pellets can meet SNI product standards. The five SNI standards obtained were bio-pellets having calorific values greater than 4000 calories/gram, bound carbon values ≥ 14%. Volatile matter content is less than ≤ 80%, ash content ≤ 1.5% and has a density of ≥ 0.8. This shows that bio-pellets from teak wood waste can be used for rural communities and can be developed for industrial purposes.
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is also one of the infectious diseases that often cause extraordinary events. Low awareness to maintain environmental cleanliness and lack of public knowledge about eradicating mosquito nests to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. This study aims to identify the relationship between the level of knowledge and the family attitudes of dengue hemorrhagic fever sufferers regarding the eradication of mosquito nests (PSN) in the work area of the Curahdami Health Center in Bondowoso Regency.Types of quantitative research designs. population and sample of 37 respondents by using total sampling. Data collection techniques used the Likert scale questionnaire to measure Knowledge Level and bivariate analysis was performed to determine the relationship between variables using Spearman's Rho. Statistical test results of Spearman's Rho. Obtained p-value 0.002 which means that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. There is a relationship between the level of knowledge with the family attitudes of dengue hemorrhagic fever sufferers about the eradication of mosquito nets in the work area of the bulk health center with a correlation coefficient of 0.487.From the results of this study, the level of knowledge of families suffering from dengue fever in eradicating mosquito nests in the Bondowoso district health center area is good.
ABSTRACT:Electrical energy is the essential things that we need in any aspect of the like industry, hospital, school, etc. Therefore, the transmission of electrical power has to be reliable and continuous. However, those ideal condition is hard to achieve in daily basis because if disruption like lightning impulse. Arrester is a device that prevents or stops overvoltage disruption. In this research, two kinds of arrester are compared and modeling substation devices using simulation software ATPDraw. The simulation result shows us that the Q150NA121A arrester has outstanding performance with an overvoltage value of 454 kV. In the other side, Q150NB121A arrester has overvoltage value at 579 kV.ABSTRAK:Energi listrik merupakan kebutuhan yang sangat penting pada setiap sektor seperti pendidikan, industri, rumah sakit, dan lain-lain. Oleh sebab itu penyaluran energi listrik diharapkan memiliki kontinyuitas dan kehandalan yang tinggi, namun dalam praktiknya hal tersebut sulit tercapai disebabkan karena berbagai macam gangguan salah satunya gangguan tegangan lebih impuls petir. Arester adalah peralatan yang saat ini banyak digunakan secara luas untuk mengurangi dan mencegah gangguan tegangan lebih. Pada penelitian ini dua tipe arester dibandingkan serta memodelkan peralatan yang ada pada gardu induk dengan menggunakan simulasi ATPDraw. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa arester tipe Q150NA121A mempunyai kinerja yang sangat baik dengan nilai tegangan lebih sebesar 454 kV. Sedangkan untuk arester tipe Q150NB121A nilai tegangan lebih sebesar 579 kV.
Biokimia merupakan mata kuliah pada keilmuan sains yang saling berhubungan dengan mata kuliah Ilmu Biomedik Dasar (IBD). Saat terjadi pandemic covid-19 perkuliahan biokimia dilakukan secara Online. Dimana setelah dilakukan observasi perkuliahan daring yang dijalankan bersifat teacher center. Tujuan penelitian ini antara lain: 1) Literasi sains mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan; 2) menambah kegiatan mahasiswa; 3) menambah kegiatan pengajar/dosen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kulaitatif dengan desain penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dengan berfokus pada bahasan enzim serta metabolisme karbohidrat, yang dilakukan melalui dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan Teknik tes dan non tes. Pengumpulan data kemampuan literasi sains melalui tes, sementara aktivitas mahasiswa dan dosen melalui lembar observasi. Data penelitian diolah menggunakan analisis prosentase. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : 1) peningkatan kemampuan literasi pada aspek konteks sebesar 25,38%, peningkatan kemampuan literasi pada aspek konten sebesar 21,43, peningkatan kemampuan literasi aspek kompetensi sebesar 30,95%; 2) peningkatan aktifitas belajar mahasiswa sebesar 38,1%; 3) peningkatan aktifitas mengajar dosen sebesar 11,11%.
