In this work, solgel method was used in order to synthesize ZnO nanoparticles. Zn(CH3COO)2•2H2O was used to obtain ZnO precursor solution. To investigate the eect of organic gelating agents on grain size, various organic gelating agents such as triethanolamine (TEA), glycerin (GLY), ethylene glycol (EG), citric acid (CA) and tartaric acid (TA) were used. X-ray diraction analysis was used for phase identication and grain size calculation. ZnO powders were characterized by using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
