Objective: The purpose of the study delineates the growth and plasmid stability of E. coli JM109 host system. Methods: Different concentrations of drugs, chemicals and various frequency of radiations were subjected to the host system to verify the colony forming units along with plasmid concentration and stability. Results: Among chemicals, acridine orange showed highest effect on growth of DH5a, while among the drugs, dantron showed maximum effect on the growth of the organism. Radio frequency of 2GHz and low intensity microwave radiation were recorded as highest inhibitory effects. However, there is no significant effect in growth was observed in exposure to UV rays. Conclusion: The present work discussed that, the effect of drugs, chemicals, radio frequency and microwave radiation have a huge effect not only on growth of organism but also concentration and stability of plasmid.
Over the past decade, metabolic engineering has emerged as an active and distinct discipline characterized by its over-arching emphasis on integration. In practice, metabolic engineering is the directed improvement of cellular properties through the application of modern genetic methods. The concept of metabolic regulations deals with the varied and innumerable metabolic pathways that are present in the human body. A combination of such metabolic reactions paves the way to the proper functioning of different physiological and biological processes. Dealing with the adversities of a disease, engineering of novel metabolic pathways showcases the potential of metabolic engineering and its application in the therapeutic treatment of diseases. A proper and deeper understanding of the metabolic functions in the human body can be known from simulated yeast models. This review gives a brief understanding about the interactions between the molecular set of metabolome and its complexity.
Recent examinations express that multi organ failure is seen in Corona virus infected patients with different pathway. It has been shown in contemplates that increased levels of cytokines like IL-1B and INF gamma were observed. It is called as cytokine storm with higher convergences of CCL2 and CXCL10. The cytokine storm is trailed by our immune system attacking own body which thus may cause numerous organ abnormalities and conclusive outcome being death. There is currently no specific treatment for viral illness, and this methodology is an optional path for focusing on specific qualities that may diminish cytokine storm. In such manner Peroxisome Proliferators Activated Receptors (PPARs) have a place with group of transcription factors which are known to manage the inflammatory mechanisms in body. This immunomodulatory approach is intended to focus PPAR-gamma ligands and their molecular docking studies. The activation or increased expression levels of PPAR gamma because of chosen agonists may reduce the cytokine storm in the covid patients. Thus, this is one such fascinating way to deal with neutralization of the cytokines exorbitantly elevated by use of substances like pomegranate, lemon grass and so on to activate PPARs reliably.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
