Reading is useful for gaining understanding, knowledge, and information. This study aimed to determine the effect of using photo comics media on reading interest and learning outcomes in elementary social studies subjects. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a Non-equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The subject of this study is elementary students at the fifth grade level. Data obtained through the implementation of direct learning to school by assessment using questionnaires and tests. Analysis of the data using the t-test. The results showed that the use of photo comics media has a significant positive effect on reading interest and student learning outcomes. This was evidenced after a positive change in asking students to read after being treated with photo comics media. In addition, student learning outcomes are satisfactory after integrating photo comic media in learning activities.

This study aimed to evaluate structural models and measurement models of student satisfaction in online learning. This was a quantitative study using a survey research design. Structural model testing was done by examining the relationship between several variables. The variables in question were the learning management system (LMS), admin services, the performance of facilitator lecturers and student satisfaction in learning. The sample used in this study were 149 students. Data analysis was performed using the multivariate Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. The findings of this study indicated that the facilitator lecturer performance is the variable that has the greatest effect in increasing student satisfaction in online learning. Admin service is another variable that has a positive effect on student satisfaction, both direct and indirect effects. The LMS variable does not show a direct effect on student satisfaction, but the LMS has an indirect effect on student satisfaction through the variable facilitator lecturer performance and admin services.
Assessment of student learning is still carried out even at distance learning. This study aims to describe how elementary school teachers assess students' psychomotor during distance learning. This research is a qualitative research with the type of phenomenology. The subjects of this study were elementary school teachers, principals, parents, and students. The research data were collected using interview techniques and document studies. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis through data collection, data condensation, data verification and drawing conclusions. The teacher begins the skills assessment by planning in advance. Planning begins with determining the competencies to be addressed, but the condition of the student's situation while at home is also a consideration for teachers in designing skills assessments. The implementation of the skills assessment is carried out through various platforms such as WhatsApp, Zoom, and Google Classroom. Teachers assess students' skills through photos and videos that students send on online platforms.
Online-based distance learning during the pandemic has an impact on the teacher's time to students tends to decrease. This triggers a decrease in students' learning motivation because learning is carried out remotely. This study aims to prove the effect of mobile assessment on the learning motivation of elementary school students in online learning. This study is a quantitative study with a pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were elementary school students in Class V. The sample used was 53 students. The selection of research subjects is based on a random sample technique. The research data were collected through a questionnaire designed to measure students' learning motivation. The data collected from both groups were analyzed using paired sample t-test. This study concludes that mobile assessment has a significant positive effect on the learning motivation of elementary school students in online learning. There is an increase in students' learning motivation after the application of mobile assessment in learning activities in online classes.
