The Fengxian-Taibai ore cluster (abbr. Fengtai ore cluster) in the Shaanxi Province, located in the middlewest of Qinling orogen, is an important part of the Qinling Pb-Zn-Au metallogenic belt. The Bafangshan-Erlihe Pb-Zn-Cu deposit of the Fengtai ore cluster is a typical large deposit, and the ore genesis remaining controversial. The viewpoints are divided into two sides, most researchers believed that it is a SEDEX (sedimentary exhalative) type or sedimentary exhalative -reformed deposit, instead, others argue that it could be an epigenetic hydrothermal type.
