Excited states of ozone are investigated based on the absorption spectrum measured in the wavelength region 105-200 nm. Two Rydberg series corresponding to the transition 6a1 → ns, np and 4b2 → ns and np were assigned for the most of the strong peaks in the absorption spectrum. In 112-105 nm wavelengths, the progression of vibrational bands with an energy spacing of about 622 cm −1 was measured which was unknown before.Surf. Rev. Lett. 2002.09:125-128. The polarization-dependent optical properties of InGaN/GaN multiquantum wells blue light-emitting diode with one-dimensional (1-D) plasmonic nanoparticles grating are investigated using an angle-resolved photoluminescence spectrometer. The light extraction efficiencies of the 1-D GaN grating coated with an Au layer and 1-D GaN grating coated with an Au nanoparticle monolayer are measured. It is shown that the light extraction efficiency of plasmonic nanoparticle grating coated with an Au nanoparticle monolayer is 1.4-fold higher than that of a 1-D GaN grating coated with Au film because the surface plasmon losses are conquered. In addition, the experimental dispersion of the surface plasmon (SP)-assisted light enhancement shows a good agreement with the dispersion of SP at the Au/GaN interface.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
