In this study, a novel series of 4-(2-(alkylthio)benzo[d]oxazol-5-yl)-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-ones (4a–m) was designed and synthesized. The anticonvulsant activities of these compounds were evaluated by using the maximal electroshock seizure (MES) and subcutaneous pentylenetetrazole (scPTZ) seizure models in mice. The neurotoxicity of these compounds was evaluated using the rotarod neurotoxicity test. The majority of compounds showed anti-MES activities at 100 or 300 mg/kg. Compound 4g was considered to be the most promising, based on its potency against MES- and PTZ-induced seizures with ED50 values of 23.7 and 18.9 mg/kg, respectively. The TD50 value of 4g was 284.0 mg/kg, which resulted in a higher protective index (PI = TD50/ED50) value than that of carbamazepine and valproate. In an ELISA test, compound 4g significantly increased the γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) content in mouse brain. In addition, pretreatment with thiosemicarbazide (an inhibitor of the GABA synthesizing enzyme) significantly decreased the activity of 4g in the MES model, which suggests that the mechanism through which compound 4g elicits its anticonvulsive action is at least in part through increasing the GABA level in the brain.
To find some rules keeping good lubrication condition for plane port pair in high-performance axial piston pump or motor, especially in the very severe applications, a new test rig was built up to simulate the operational principle of port pair, and to form the lubricating oil film for representative parameter acquisition. This rig is principally characterized by supply pressure up to 30 MPa, accurate control of oil film thickness by separate oil circuit design and electrohydraulic feedback control. The tested oil film working properties was analyzed by comparison with theoretical or simulation references. Experiments show that film balance time and thickness are two key parameters for describing oil film properties, and that working condition factors such as supply pressure, lubricating fluid temperature also notably affects the film thickness and its configuration, but they don’t show equivalent action. Lubrication effects can be valued by the tested frictional torque change of port pair.
The TCR single-phase to three-phase power converter has been widely used in electrified railway system as its simple control raw and high reliability. The research on main circuit parameters and its control law is necessary to design suitable TCR single phase to three phase power converter. This paper analyses the main circuit of TCR single phase to three phase power converter, and acquires the parameters configuration theory of each element in main circuit and control law of converter when the power factor varies from 0.7 to 0.9.
The paper studied the frequency characteristics of UHVDC transmission line and UHVDC transmission line boundary and their attenuation to high frequency components of fault-generated transient signal. The paper points out that existing approaches which utilize protectors to distinguish local side’s internal or external fault can’t protect the whole line. UHVDC transmission line and UHVDC transmission line boundary’s attenuation to high frequency fault-generated transient signal is overall considered, and a single-ended transient based voltage protection method which distinguishes the opposite side’s internal and external fault is proposed. The Yunnan-Guangdong UHVDC model of actual parameters was built up by PSCAD, and simulation experiment was conducted.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
