Considering the recent increase in the frequency of wireless communications, we have developed a spectrum measurement system in the 140–315 GHz range. The measurement system has a low spurious response by pre‐selector over the whole band. For application, we measured radiation patterns emitted from a horn antenna, and the result shows that the measurement system is applicable to EIRP (equivalent isotropic radiated power) measurement of transmitters.
We propose a novel method using an optical loop system to expand the span of an optical frequency comb. The validity of this system was confirmed experimentally in the 1.5 µm wavelength region. By using this system, the modulation index was doubled.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
