The article reveals the main determinants of political and ethno-national extremism in modern Russian society. The author attempts to give a criminological assessment of extremist manifestations in Russia as a whole and in the North Caucasus region most affected by extremism and identifies some problems arising in connection with the global extremist impact on Russia organized by the United States and a number of EU countries in connection with the special military operation of the Russian armed forces to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine. Based on the study of court decisions, scientific papers and statistical materials, the author suggests some special criminological measures to counter extremism.

In this regard, the authors have developed and justified proposals for implementing the principle of federalism in the organization and operation of the system of executive authorities.
This article is devoted to the analysis of modern problems associated with the imperfection of the model of separation of powers between Federal and regional executive bodies in the Russian Federation. In this regard, a system of proposals for resolving these problems has been prepared and justified in the work. These proposals will optimize the organization and functioning of the executive power system in Russia. Moreover, the optimization of the model of separation of powers between federal and regional executive bodies in the country should be aimed at preserving the Russian Federation's state sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
This article is devoted to the analysis of the problems and prospects of increasing the role and place of the State Council of the Russian Federation and plenipotentiary representatives of the President of Russia in the federal districts in coordinating the system of executive power in the country and overcoming centrifugal political trends. In this regard, the authors have developed and justified a number of measures to resolve these problems. This will not only strengthen the system of executive power in the country, but also ensure the state sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Russian Federation in a rapidly globalizing world.
