Development of a multichannel APD measuring receiver is necessary to enable evaluation of the impact of wideband disturbance emissions on digital wireless communication services which use multicarrier transmission systems. We describe technical details of the world's first multichannel APD measuring receiver which we have developed using a general-purpose ADC-FPGA board. Our measurements of the basic performance of this receiver show that the receiver is suitable for practical use. We also used the developed receiver to measure the APDs of disturbance emitted from a microwave oven at five frequency points (1 MHz apart). These results indicate the significance of the multichannel APD measuring receiver.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
