Objective: The objective of this study was to determine age and sonographic findings of dermoid cysts as a nonfunctional ovarian mass in a multicentric review. Method: Dermoid cyst files of 20 tertiary and secondary hospitals were reviewed for age and sonographic findings between 2000 and 2005. Results: The mean and median age of patients was 32 and 30, respectively. Sonographic findings revealed that dermoid cysts had an average size of 7 cm, were mostly cystic (solid in one third), and bilateral in 8.5%. ( J GYNECOL SURG 26:127)
