Abstract:Synchronous malignancies of cervix and ovary are rare with poor prognosis and are found in the literature only as case reports. The optimal management remains poorly defined. We present a case of carcinoma ovary with carcinoma cervix that was treated with Wertheim's hysterectomy with pelvic lymph node dissection and omentectomy. Her postoperative period was uneventful. A successful outcome was obtained and patient could go back to her normal life and work.
Ovarian cystadenofibromas comprise very rare group of ovarian neoplasms with mixture of epithelial and fibrous stromal components. Here we present a case of a postmenopausal female who had bilateral ovarian cystadenofibromas along with a paratubal cyst.
