Pb(Znl/~Nb,/3)03 (PZN) ceramic is used to improve the piezoelectric properties of PZT ceramics. Complete perovskite phase is synthesized for PZN content up to 10 mol%. Piezoceramics having dielectric constant higher than 3000 and planar couplin factor about 60% are the thickness of ceramic plate. Plate with thickness smaller than l o o p shows nothing in superior piezoelectric properties. The second phase ZrO2 due to the evaporation of PbO phase during sinterin is the dominant factor. gradually plays an important role when thickness is thin enough. Experimental results demonstrate both the control of PbO vapor pressure and the processing conditions can effectively reduce such deterioration.obtainable. However, these properties seem to be 9 eteriorated by decreasing This non-piezoelectric phase exists on the surface o P piezoceramic plate and
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
