The tunnel excavation destroys rock stress state and when concentrated stress exceeds the strength of surrounding rock, the tunnel periphery rocks will be destroyed. And the effective bearing ring will be soon instable and it needs to be supported. Blot-grouting support is an active support method which organically combines shotcreting support and grouting consolidation and its theoretical research achievements are less. This paper, starting from catastrophe theory, established catastrophe instability model of blot-grouting support body and it also obtained the mechanic judgment criterion of blot-grouting support body damage and the regular pattern of the point (N, q)’s motion tract in the controlling space, of which the influence to the rock stability. And the paper also judged the minimum thickness of blot-grouting support body in the point of catastrophe stability model to provide the basis for theoretical calculation and engineering application.
On the basis of summary and analysis of the characteristics of concrete hollow blocks and composite masonry walls, this paper puts forward the concept of composite masonry wall with condensed core columns. Regarding the distance between core columns (s=600mm and s=1200mm) as the main influencing factors, two composite masonry walls were designed and built to carry out the axial compression capacity experimental study. The results of the study show that the composite masonry wall with condensed core columns can greatly improve the ultimate axial compression capacity of the wall, delay the fracture process, and influence the failure modes. In the entire experiment, the deformation of concrete hollow blocks and core columns was basically the same, and can work in coordination. The stress mechanism of the composite masonry wall which had splitting fracture changed from the composite masonry wall to the (weak) frame structure, which finally formed column hinge and got destroyed. The experimental results of this paper can provide a new way for the application of concrete hollow blocks as main wall materials in the field of high-rise buildings. The establishment of axial compression capacity formula and the eccentric compression performance of the composite masonry wall with condensed core columns deserve further study.
With the development of energy-saving in buildings, new energy-saving block masonry with multi-row cores is commonly used. In this paper, from the study of typical bearing capacity of multi hole concrete block masonry of combining multiple rows of holes, holes in the multi block wall masonry capacity test of heat insulation material characteristics. Test results show that, in the process of multi hole masonry brittle failure characteristics, built-in straw block in the insulation at the same time, can improve the compressive strength of masonry; masonry local diffusion mechanism under the action of stress is significant; and offer the engineering measures.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
