Aim: To explore the impact mechanism of transformational leadership and clan culture on the willingness to stay of nursing staff in the aged care industry. Background: Previous researchers had paid much attention to the leadership and culture, yet it was unclear how the transformational leadership and clan culture influence the willingness to stay of nursing staff, especially those in the aged care industry. Methods: A questionnaire was conducted in an aged care agency in Anhui Province, with a total of 217 valid questionnaires collected for empirical analysis. Results: (a) Transformational leadership indirectly affects willingness to stay by affecting organisational commitment and job satisfaction. (b) Clan culture also affects the willingness to stay by affecting their organisational commitment and job satisfaction. (c) Professional identity also has a significant positive impact on the willingness to stay. Conclusions: The findings of the study emphasize the importance of transformational leadership and clan culture in enhancing the willingness to stay of nursing staff in the aged care industry, and clarify the specific impact mechanism. Implications for Nursing Management: Nurse leaders in the aged care agencies should improve transformational leadership, and strive to build clan culture to help retain nursing staff better.
Entrepreneurial activities of college students have received unprecedented attention under the “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” program. This program encourages individuals to start their own businesses and stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit and innovative genes of the nation. Sustainable entrepreneurship is a new form of entrepreneurship that plays an important role in addressing the employment problems of college students, promoting sustainable social and economic development, and alleviating China’s environmental problems. Based on the platform of the China College Students’ “Internet Plus” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (CSIPC) organized by the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China, we investigated the specific paths of personality trait influence on sustainable entrepreneurial intention of college students with entrepreneurial alertness and opportunity recognition as mediating variables. We conducted an empirical analysis based on 316 data collected from CSIPC participants. Results of data analysis show that personality traits had a significantly effect on sustainable entrepreneurial intention of college students, and entrepreneurial alertness and opportunity recognition played a mediating role between personality traits and sustainable entrepreneurial intention of college students. This study contributes to research on sustainable entrepreneurship and the practices of colleges to foster sustainable entrepreneurs.
The development of e-commerce has led to a surge in the number of online shopping parcels. However, given the lack of scale effect, last mile delivery is inefficient, expensive, and produces a considerable amount of carbon emissions, which has become an obstacle to the development of a sustainable economy. This work proposes a traveling salesman problem with carbon emission reduction in last mile delivery. The proposed problem aims to reduce the total costs and carbon emissions of last mile delivery by deciding on the allocation of parcel lockers while scheduling delivery routes. In addition, we take the customer self-collection intention into consideration and translate it into self-collection costs, which are included in the objective. An iterated local search (ILS) algorithm is proposed, and four new local search operators are designed to improve customer allocation. The proposed method is tested on a set of scattered and clustered instances, including a real-world instance. The computational results show the superiority and competitiveness of the proposed algorithm.INDEX TERMS Sustainable economy, carbon emission, parcel lockers, customer pickup, last mile, ILS.
Abstract:The aim of this work is to present some aggregation operators with triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers and study their desirable properties. Firstly, the score function and the accuracy function of triangular intuitionistic fuzzy number are given, the method for ranking triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are developed. Then, some geometric aggregation operators for aggregating triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are developed, such as triangular intuitionistic fuzzy weighted geometric (TIFWG) operator, the triangular intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted geometric (TIFOWG) operator and the triangular intuitionistic fuzzy hybrid geometric (TIFHG) operator. Moreover, an application of the new approach to multi-criteria decision making method was proposed based on the geometric average operator of TIFNs, and the new ranking method for TIFNs is used to rank the alternatives. Finally, an example analysis is given to verify and demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed method.
