This paper presents the dual piston-shaped monopole antenna for wireless communication applications. The analysis of optimization parameters used the empirical method and simulation technique with CST program. The design of matching impedance of proposed antenna is 50 ohms. The applications of prototype antenna are RFID, WLAN ( IEEE 802.11a/j ) and WiMAX ( IEEE 802.16e ) system. The simulation results show the bandwidth of proposed antenna is 2.93 GHz (2.80 – 5.73 GHz) by the average gain is 4.27 dBi and radiation pattern is omni-directional.
